Located below Mt Hombrum’s Bluff at the foot of the
Sogeri Plateau, the Bluff Inn Motel offers a restful ambience and a
welcome introduction to PNG outside the city. The Bluff Inn promotes its

tropical gardens on the banks of the Laloki River at the foothills of the
Kokoka Trail.

Yule Island is a quiet retreat with great swimming,
snokelling, scuba diving and fishing (bring your own gear). There are bat
caves to be explored and many pleasant walks from the Guest House which
sits at the top of a cliff overlooking the bay. The Guest House will
organise canoe trips to the local markets and beaches. All meals are
provided. The Carmel Guest House enjoys a reputation for its superb
seafood dinners of fresh locally caught lobsters and prawns.
Yule Island is thirty minutes by light aircraft or two
and a half hours by car and canoe, west of Port Moresby. Take the insect
repellent.

Located near Sogeri at the start of the Kokoda Trail in
a quiet bush setting. At 2000’ altitude evenings are cool and
invigorating. Guides can be provided for local bushwalks, trekking along
the Kokoda Trail and bird watching at Varirata National Park. Also a
popular spot for orchid enthusiasts.

kilometres from Jacksons International Airport in beautiful Bootless Bay.

Located about a half hour by light aircraft from Port
Moresby in the Owen Stanley Ranges, the Lodge organises bushwalking and
fishing trips to nearby rivers. Home made cooking served beside a glowing
fire provides a relaxing atmosphere in the evenings. The local market
gardens grow beautiful strawberries, fresh fruit and vegetables.
Handcrafted bows, arrows, bilums and other artefacts can be bought outside
the entrance to the lodge.
