As the Minister
responsible for Tourism in Papua New Guinea, I am delighted to be able to
introduce an exciting phase entitled “PARADISE LIVE”, in the
development of tourism in Papua New Guinea.The title “PARADISE LIVE”
captures Papua New Guinea’s spectacular natural beauty, the vibrancy of
the people, and the richness of our many unique and varied cultures and
arts.In line with this exciting new phase, the Papua New Guinea Tourism
Promotion Authority and the tourism industry in Papua New Guinea have come
together to produce in this publication some of Papua New Guinea’s best
tourism products.As can be seen from the contents of this publication,
Papua New Guinea has a diverseof holiday features and activities to suit
the most discerning tourist. Its mountains, rivers, valleys, volcanic
off-shore islands and villages provide the setting for flora and fauna
expeditions, mountain climbing, cultural tours, scuba diving, trekking,
fishing, arts and sightseeing. The people of Papua New Guinea have a proud
record of welcoming and caring for visitors, whether in tour groups or as
independent travellers. All of our visitors can be assured of the holiday
