Air Niugini, the national carrier of Papua New Guinea, commenced operations in 1973 with a fleet of twelve DC3’s and six F27’s.

Today Air Niugini has a fleet of five F28-1000, three F28-4000, two DASH 7’s and two Airbus A310-300. They operate to 20 ports within Papua New Guinea and internationally to Brisbane, Sydney and Cairns in Australia, Hong Kong, Manila, Singapore, Honiara and Jayapura.

Air Niugini also has sales offices in Los Angeles, Tokyo and Frankfurt.

Air Niugini has attended Trade and Promotion Travel Shows together with the Tourism Promotion Authority and Papua New Guinea inbound tour operators.

MBA operates Papua New Guinea’s largest domestic network serving 64 ports on daily scheduled services and services over 250 airstrips and aerodromes on a charter basis.
